WICT New England
2010 Mentoring Program

A mentorship is a supportive relationship established between two individuals where knowledge, skills and experience are shared.

Program Vision:

  • Help develop leaders that transform our industry by creating, coaching and mentoring relationships between WICT members.

Mentor Program Basics:

  • We offer a program that will run from March to October with an opening and closing event as well as informative webinars. There will also be opportunities to meet prior to or following WICT programs held throughout the year.
  • Mentors and protégés will be given a guideline along with information on building a rewarding relationship. Participants are encouraged to find a plan that works specifically for each team involved. The success of the partnership is determined by the contribution of each member. Please ensure you are able to provide the time needed to make the most of the program.
  • Committee chairs will match up one mentor and one protégé based on interests, industry knowledge and developmental goals entered in the application.
  • Applications will be available mid-February and are due by March 1, 2010. You must be a current WICT member to participate as a mentor or protégé. For information on how to join WICT please click here.
