WICT New England EDS Fellowship recipient: Jackie Boudreau
The WICT New England Chapter offered a Fellowship for a 2009 WICT New England board member to attend the upcoming Executive Development Seminar (EDS) in Stowe, VT June 17-19, 2009. The Fellowship included the event registration and 3 night’s accommodation at the StoweFlake resort.
By unanimous vote, the Fellowship was awarded to Jackie Boudreau, Director, Regional & System Operations at Cox Communications and WICT New England Program Chair.
WICT New England board members submitted their applications which were reviewed by a selection committee comprised of the Chapter's Executive Champions, Doug Guthrie, Kathy Gillis and Steve Anderson and Regional Advisor, Marcia Keegan. The criteria included current leadership and management responsibilities as well as contributions to the New England Chapter. Applicants were asked to identify specific ways that the experience would be used for individual professional growth and the enhancement of the WICT New England Chapter.
The WICT Executive Development Seminar (EDS) is a distinctive learning experience equipping women leaders with the tools necessary to enhance their successes in the cable industry. Participants practice strategies to build relationships in business, learn to embrace and appreciate differences among peers, understand specific time management strategies to make the most out of time on the job, and focus on bringing complicated work situations back to the basics. Those qualified to apply are Women who manage a staff and are directly responsible for a portion of their company’s P & L, and are serious about polishing their senior leadership skills.
