                                          ABOUT THE EVENT                                          
Join us again, or for the first time, for this summer's Red Dress Run. On Saturday, July 8, we will take to Elizabeth Park for this annual 5K event. We are offering a Couch to 5K program for those that are willing to make the Red Dress Run their first 5K. The Red Dress Run is a 5K run/walk exclusively for women of all ages & abilities to celebrate women's fitness. The 3.1 mile route starts and finishes in the beautiful Elizabeth Park Rose Garden (with over 15,000 roses in full bloom!) and travels through shade covered residential streets on wide, well paved roads. 
     HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE RACE & JOIN OUR TEAM      

1. Click this link to REGISTER for the Red Dress Run 5k and for event details.
2. Select the "Register Now" button.  
3. "Sign in" to your ChronoTrack or Athlinks account or click the "Continue As Guest" button. 
4. Click on "5k Team Member - Adult"
5. When you get to the page that says "Team Selection" click on "Join Existing Team", type in WICT New England and complete the registration form.

 

Arrive early, we will plan for a team photo near the Hartford Marathon Foundation Photo Booth at 7:45am.

Our plan eases you into the 5K training gradually with the ultimate goal to transform you from couch potato to runner in just 9 weeks!
