Lata Chawla, President, Performance Edge, LLC

Lata Chawla is the President of Performance Edge, LLC, a Training, Consulting and Multi-Media firm serving the Broadcast, Cable and Telecommunications Industry.

Prior to her current role, Chawla worked for ESPN, Inc. for 11 years. In her tenure at ESPN, she served in a variety of Leadership roles within the Human Resources Department. Prior to ESPN, Lata was a Manager in Human Resources at ITT Hartford Life Insurance Group. Lata has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources in the areas of Training, Organizational Development, Staffing, Diversity, Human Resources Information Systems, Affirmative Action Planning, Employee Relations and Consulting.

Chawla holds a degree in Theology, an MBA in Human Resources Administration and has taken management and negotiations classes at Harvard, UCLA and is a graduate of the 2004 L.E.A.P. Program. Lata has had an on-going passion for leadership and executive development since she first studied the field in the early 90's. Since then, she has been pursing the best tools and methodologies for developing today’s leaders.

Chawla serves on the Board of Directors for Jazz’d 4 Life and The Association for Christian Character Development. She is on the Advisory Board for The Marcus Evans CLO Summit for 2007 and serves on the WICT New England Board as one of the Professional Development Program Directors for 2007.
