Pam Mackenzie , Area Vice President, Hartford/Springfield Market, Comcast

Pam Mackenzie serves as Area Vice President for the Hartford, Conn. and Springfield, Mass. markets of the CT/West Region. Pam is responsible for area leadership of 345,000 customers in Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Pam’s team includes Technical Operations, Finance, Human Resources and Commercial & Residential Sales

Pamela has more than 20 years of experience in the cable industry holding various positions, including her most recent position as Area Vice President of Adelphia Communications of Northern Ohio. In this position she led operations for 380,000 subscribers in 170 communities including Cleveland. Pamela also served as Area Vice-President for Adelphia in Western Pennsylvania, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operation of eight systems in three states, serving almost 400,000 subscribers. She managed 600 system employees and 470 franchises, rebuilt and upgraded 7,000 miles of cable infrastructure, and successfully launched both digital cable and high-speed Internet access. She has also served as Regional Manager and General Manager for several systems in Arizona and California.

Prior to joining the cable industry, Pamela held several posts at the White House during the Carter Administration, including Director of Logistics, Management Analyst, and Assistant Director of Presidential Correspondence.
