Kathy Gillis, Vice President, Human Resources, Cox Communications New England

Kathy Gillis is vice president of Human Resources for Cox Communications’ New England operations. She is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s Human Resources including organizational design. Gillis has strong communications, relationship building, mentoring, negotiation, and mediation skills with core competencies in organizational culture and vision, benefits, compensation, and human resources information systems; performance management, organizational realignment, regulatory compliance issues, change management strategies, talent acquisition and retention, team building and leadership, employee relations and compliance. She has been a catalyst for a series of innovative human resources initiatives; is a creative thinker, problem solver, and decision maker. Gillis earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Westfield State College. She is a member of Society for Human Resources Management, Northeast Human Resources Association and Women in Cable Telecommunications and has been a corporate sponsor/mentor for Junior Achievement.
