Joan Lawlor, Senior Product Manager, Cox Communications

Joan Lawlor has been with Cox Communications for over four years.  In her current role, Joan is responsible for the product lifecycle management of both wireline and wireless telephone services.  Prior to joining Cox, Joan worked for Verizon based out of Manhattan as an Executive Director in a variety of marketing positions, including strategic marketing and planning, product development and product line management.

Joan joined the WICT New England board as Membership Networking Director in 2009 and will continue that role through 2010.  Joan’s focus is to create opportunities for current and new members to come together to share experiences, meet other WICT members and provide opportunities for growth and learning.  Joan’s efforts in 2009 were recognized by her nomination for WICT Ambassador of the Year.  

Joan has a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from Long Island University.  In addition to her responsibilities at Cox and on the WICT boards, Joan enjoys kayaking, cycling, and theatre.  Joan grew up on Long Island, spent most of her adult life living in Connecticut and now resides in Charlestown, Rhode Island.
