Beth Denning, Executive Director, Marketing Operations at Cox Communications
Beth Denning is the Executive Director of Marketing Operations for the Eastern Division of Cox Communications, Inc. In her role, Ms. Denning acts as the marketing strategist on Cox’s Eastern Division team, representing 2.5 million subscribers, and serves as liaison with Eastern Division markets in building and executing marketing strategy.
Previously, Ms. Denning was Director of Sales and Distribution for Cox. In this role, she was responsible for the development and implementation of Cox’s sales and distribution strategies, including 3rd party retail relationships, call center sales metrics and incentives, design and execution of Cox-owned retail locations, and sales support technology. Winner of two of Cox’s Vision Awards, for Strategic Innovation and Competitive Strategy, Ms. Denning has been instrumental in shaping Cox’s competitive marketing and distribution strategies.
Ms. Denning joined Cox in 1996 as State Manager for Primestar by Cox, where she was responsible for distribution and call center operations. Prior to joining Cox, she served 10 years in a variety of sales and marketing roles with GTE Wireless, now Verizon.
A native of Savannah, GA, Ms. Denning is a 1982 graduate of Wesleyan College. She is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications as well as the Cable and Telecommunications Association of Marketers.
